Notes

  1. Lavender Strength: Adjust the amount of lavender based on your preference for flavor intensity. Fresh lavender is often milder than dried.
  2. Blueberry Texture: For a smoother ice cream, strain the blueberry puree to remove skins. If you prefer a bit of texture, you can skip this step.
  3. Chill Time: Ensure the ice cream mixture is frozen solid before churning in the Ninja Creami, as it needs to be at a firm consistency for proper churning.
  4. Adjust Sweetness: Taste the mixture before freezing and adjust sweetness with honey or agave syrup if needed. Remember that sweetness can vary based on the fruit and personal preference.
  5. Food Coloring: If using purple food coloring, add a few drops to enhance the visual appeal. This is optional and does not affect flavor.
  6. Dairy-Free Option: For a dairy-free version, use coconut milk and cream. Ensure all other ingredients are also dairy-free.
  7. Texture Adjustment: If the ice cream is too hard after freezing, add a splash of milk or cream during churning to reach the desired consistency.
